Han Ji-hye is the mother of Melina Jeong and ex-wife of Jeong Dae-hyun. Ji-hye is pragmatic, driven, and emotionally closed off. When The Keystone Initiative approached her and her husband in order to 'protect' their daughter Melina, she was wary, and never fully on-board with the idea. When Melina died a few years later, Ji-hye shut down, leading to her divorce from Dae-hyun. She relocated to Los Angeles, California, and effectively shut the book on that stage of her life, never speaking about Dae-hyun or the daughter she lost again. She has since remarried and has a young son. She works as a corporate executive in tech finance.
